One major way how technology has affected politics is through the television. Its affected politics that way because when the presidential candidates are campaigning they seek to get the support of people through commercial ads, the radio, and even through the phone. This is a huge factor for the candidates because even though they might be campaigning everyday trying to go at every city, it’s going to be impossible for them to get the word out to every person in the United States. So through this technology it makes the process a lot faster and less painful for them, and it’s an easier way to bash the opponent through a commercial rather than telling him in person and taking the risk of starting up a fight.
