What is open source software?

Open Source is a software that is released with source code under a license that ensures that derivative works will also be available as source code, protects certain rights of the original authors, and prohibits restrictions on how the software can be used or who can use it.
Its impact on Microsoft is not good because people can download free programs instead of buying them.
The impact on my wallet is nothing because it costs free and there is no need for me to spend money when i could just download it for free.

Palin/Biden Debate

R.Sanchez a blogger from www.averageuscitizen.com says that the debate was weak but it was good television. Sanchez didn't like it because there was no follow up questions and it was run by a group of bipartisan lobbyists. You can clearly tell that this blogger was a Democrat because for Biden he said, Biden held back, which was probably a smart move on his part, but at least he made an attempt to answer the questions he was asked. Still, a lot of talking points. He also pulled off the “I’m one of you” thing with the stories of the guy at Home Depot and at the gas station.

Another blogger on www.blogspot.com you could clearly tell he was a Republican by the way he was portraying Palin. He said, I won't lie. I kinda like Palin and the energy she brings to this campaign. She's brought every single person's attention to her and therefore to the election. I don't agree with anything she believes in or says, but I like her because... well... I guess I have sympathy for her.
